I feel like my "style" needs more excitement..I tend to stick to the basics (basic tees from target-nothing too exciting) I have the disease where I only buy clearance. I hate to spend a ton of money on one thing when I can get tons for the same price..haha. I want to change my shopping habits...Ladies, where are your favorite stores to shop...any ideas and tips would be great!

I agree. You need a killer pair of jeans. A killer pair of shoes. A jacket that turns heads. A great hair cut and color.


Everything else can be clearance, but please dont' skimp on these essentials! You will feel SO much better!

Forever 21, a good, modern take on the tees, something flowey at the bottom. A good purse is essential. A pair of jeans that just make you feel HOT. I usually rock flip-flops with my sexy jeans. :) Just branch out on shirts, get some cute prints, low cuts on some, maybe some cute detailing. Charlotte Russe is always good, Target, little boutiques. :)

I love sales too, and some good places to get some nice stuff at a decent price (even if they are last seasons) are Marshalls and JT Maxx. Also check out little boutiques for their clearance racks.

A great pair of jeans is good. Maybe a pair of black casual pants as well.
I think it's all about accessories, they can really change an outfit.
I'm obsessed with scarves, as soon as I feel the slightest chill in the air I drag my collection out.
I think you can have a lot of fun with shoes as well. Buy basic clothing, and fun shoes and accessories. I love colored flats and sandals!

h & m has great clothes at affordable prices-- get the classics not the trendy stuff, i also like Maurice's. i shop at tj maxx and marshal's alot too -- but you have to sift.
