When moving to a different state... can he still have the car registered to his home state and not the state we are moving to if both of our names are on the title and such???? Or does it have to be only in his name??

:agree We have Florida license plates and we're in California.

No it shouldn't matter if it is in both names. We have never had an issue with keeping plates from different states on our co-owned vehicles.
