So in the last 3-4 weeks i have been having some sort of new skin allergy that i can't figure out so i am going to go see my doctor this week. but anyway, does anyone know if tricare covers referals to an allergy specialist or dermatologist? i couldn't find anything in the handbook.

yup, as long as your dr puts in a referral you are covered

Yay. Cause i am about to die of itchies! And as a nursing student, i can't see how much help my ob/gyn is going to be even though she is my PCM.

you have to see your PCM (primary care physician) they than put in a referral for the dermatologist than you get a separate appt. and than go see the dermatologist and yes tricare covers it, if it follows that procedure.
i have gotten quite a few referrals through my OB's that were covered.
