Any of y'all willing to take homecoming pictures for me at the very end of September/beginning of October? I'm HUGE on pictures and really want some of this particular homecoming because it might be our last deployment (I may be moving in a year to get us all settled in, my husband gets out in two) and because our daughter has actually comprehended that Daddy is gone this time so I really want pictures of the two of them after they first see each other.

I know it's still awhile in advance, but it is really important to me and I hate waiting till the last minute. Most of my friends either a) have husbands on the same ship b) go to school with me and will likely be in class when the ship comes in (and many of whom do not have cars if it does happen to fall on a weekend) or c) work. I want something lined up in advance but can't ask people to take a week off of work because I probably honestly won't know when it will be until a few days beforehand. Which is why I wasn't able to line anything up through OPlove, either. :grumpy

Anyway, if any of y'all are able to do that for me it would be great! I'll compensate a little for gas and your time. :D

Let me know when it's going to happen and I will let them know at work when I MIGHT have to take some time off so they are prepared!! :) It's relatively easy for me to have time covered at the office!! :)

Yeah yeah, I'll let you know! What happens if I only get like 2-3 days notice? Our captain isn't very helpful and apparently information is only shared at the FRG meetings. I've been hearing about a 5 day span of when it could be...and at least with the last deployment, it moved several times after we got an official date. :vent Course, it moved up, so that was good.

Just give me a general time frame and I can try to figure it out! :) I would think you should get an almost definite time of arrival!! :hugs Just keep me updated!!!
