I was TOLD (not that it's 100% right or not) by Alex's Pedi when he was little that at that age they can't have seasonal allergies. It honestly sounds like a cold to me. He can get a cold even if he hasn't been around someone obviously sick.

It sounds like a cold and possibly teething at the same time. Do allergies run in your family? I have been told the same thing. That kids dont get allergies that young. But Ethan slept with his mouth open, snored, was congested all the time. didnt sleep well etc. He was finally diagnosed with allergies 2 months ago. He had a nose running like a faucet. Just streaming. It was awful. They put him on Zyrtec and OMG what a difference. He sleeps GREAT, his nose has stopped, way less "colds" (which I dont think were colds now) no snoring, no mouth open sleeping etc. (I have HORRENDOUS allergies. I am allergic to darn near everything and it does run in the family)
IF you suspect allergies I would make an appt. They probably will tell you that most kids dont get allergies that young. But it IS possible. Just keep at em. G'luck

Well I will tell you what Ethans ped told me "If you have allergies then so does your son" So...I would make an appointment. Be prepared for them to say he is too young but like I said keep on em. The zyrtec really has been a life saver for us. And my poor lil man feels SOOOO much better
