I don't know if it's b/c it's so close to when I just had a baby so my body is still adjusting w/ the hormones on top of being hormonal b/c of that time of month or what, but I am being THE biggest bitch! Everything he is doing is irritating the shit out of me and I'm spazzing out...He commented that I never act like this...
Anyone else deal with this?
I need to get on birth control pronto...I think that might help control the hormones...I'm popping Ibprofin b/c that, for some reason, helps me not be so "angry".
I hate being like this! I feel like I'm in my first trimester of pregnancy! :lol
CoffeeGirl 06-26-2006, 10:05 PM Hang in there girl! Hormones stink sometimes!:hugs :hugs :hugs
RileysDad 06-26-2006, 10:06 PM Trey did the same thing:scared . It'll pass. For Phil's sake I hope so.:lmao
NavyChiefs_Wife 06-26-2006, 10:07 PM I was like that for a few months after I had Sydney. Hang in there, it'll get better.

RileysDad 06-26-2006, 10:11 PM Hope all is well for you! It WILL get better though...
Rileysmom 06-26-2006, 10:38 PM Hey Rach, I did go through the SAME thing... here is my post from a few months ago..
"Is it possible that post pardum depression can be disguised as hatred? I love my husband more than life itself.. I mean he is the greatest guy you could ever ask for.. He draws me bathes, rubs my feet, today he wrote about ten messages on post it notes and hid them in the formula can, the fridge, my underwear drawer, etc. He takes awesome care of Riley, he changes him all the time, gets up in the middle of the night, watches him so that I can get out of the house and do stuff, he is absolutely wonderful. But I can't help but just hate him right now! For no real reason either... its like I find reasons to be mad at him... and I really can't help it! I try to tell myself I am overexagerating and that I am being a bitch, but I don't care because I just want to stay irritated at him. I feel TERRIBLE when I snap out of it, but then a day or two later, I just go back to the same thing! Did any of you experience anything like this, or am I just being an extremely ungrateful bitch of a wife? The truth please... I can handle it.."
It really has gotten better though! I definitely have my ups and downs though, and when I start not getting enough "me" time is when I start to get like that again (like when we talked a couple weeks ago! ;)) I think I take it out on Ryan... the fact that I am stuck at home and tired and not sleeping, etc, even though I KNOW I shouldn't... Birth control should help though! If you ever need to talk, you know I am here for ya though! :hugs :P
Caimbrie 06-26-2006, 10:45 PM Hormones can SO change a person! I've been through it.. it's usually only for a day here and there luckily for Tony lol.
PrincessBlue505 06-26-2006, 11:09 PM I was like that when DD was about the age of ur DD-only it was about that time I got on BC and THAT's when I started being a bitch, after I started the BC. I was like that for a couple months until DH called me out on it, so I made a real effort to cool it and watch myself and it worked. But I'm STILL adjusting to all the hormone changes and the BC-I still cry really easily (and I'm pretty happy-a lot of it is happy crying) which is COMPLETELY out of the norm for me. If I'm still like this by the time my annual exam comes around, I'm talking to the dr. But I guess a year of hormones still being out of wack is normal-so I was told when I was losing major amounts of hair and was told it was due to post preggo hormones and that it could last up to a year.
mara_jade81 06-27-2006, 12:09 AM hayden is almost 8 months old and i still have my incredibly irritable days (quite a few of them). i remember going through the same thing when madison was the same age actually.
but be careful about too much ibuprofin since it's not good on your stomach or liver to have too much (especially if you take it on an empty stomach).
footstepswife 06-27-2006, 12:32 AM I felt the same way after my munchkins too. I felt very indifferent about a lot of things also, things people would normally say to me, that before I would shrug off my shoulder, then after my baby made me want to yell and sometimes tell them off. Crazy how a sweet little baby can complete change your body, mind and soul LOL
=Mrs.AiNokeA= 06-27-2006, 12:40 AM Be careful what birth control you take I switched to a new one that my older sister is taking called Tri Levlen. It's supposed to be really close to how your bodys natural hormone balance is by giving you a small amout or hormones in the first few pills then a lil more then the most by the end of the pill pack. I think it really does act like your natural body cuz before my PMS wasnt too bad and now I'm a real bitch before my period lol. I dont want to switch again cuz I have switched pills a lot and it might have just been this month I dont know. Just make sure you take one that helps you with it lol. :D
airyn1 06-27-2006, 11:22 PM I'm there right now Rach. Plus I'm having cramps 100x worse than I've ever had before.
Amber V 06-27-2006, 11:54 PM Rach I am right there with you. My Dh commented on the other day and then I wanted to hate him more. But then I have good days and feel he is the greatest guy ever. It will pass eventually. At least that is what I keep telling my self. :teehee
RockstarMom 06-27-2006, 11:59 PM After Aiden I was like that! It was awful! I was so pissed off at everything! Not so bad after Gwen, but I was also much much much more mellow with Gwen than I was with Aiden and this one! :hehe Everything pisses me off, but 99% of the time I bite my tounge because I know it will pass. Don't worry Rach, it WILL pass! :hugehug
Heather 06-28-2006, 12:07 AM Thread jack sorry!!!
I took this birth control everyday never missed a day always took it the morning when I got up and brushed my teeth and I got pregnant with my son while I was on it. I don't trust it. just need to throw that out there.

MichelleB 06-29-2006, 10:36 PM It's probably horomones. I went through it when I first had Taylor, and I still have :nutts days. Just ask my poor hubby. Hopefully BC will help. Lack of sleep and no "you time" contributes to it though. :hugs
