Hello everyone, I just went to the post office to buy a box to send my package to DB, but they didn't have the size box I wanted, they had only a smaller and larger one, I had to get the larger one. It is 20" x 14" x 10". The other day his Mom told me that she heard that they can't get packages that are too large. Does anyone know about this, and how big is too big? That would suck if the package came back to me. Thanks for your help!!! :)

I have been sending the size 7 boxes I think. I have used the ones that the shipping is the flat rate. It makes it easier. The last box I send was almost 9 pounds and the one before that was heavier. I also ordered the free priority boxes from the post office.

As long as it doesn't weigh over 70 lbs and the dimensions of length + girth aren't over 108 inches, you can send it. (Although, I recommend sending smaller packages, because the bigger they are, the more likely they'll leave them behind along the way and opt to forward on the lighter boxes.) I've noticed that the heavier they are, the longer they take to get there.

i sent one that was quite big to him!! AND IT COST ME 192 bucks to send cos the idiot at the post sent it to the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES instead of the US! She didn't figure it APO AE was a US place cos it was getting sent to Kuwait- idiot. Anyways- maybe you could just a few smaller ones..

Thank you everyone! I ended up sending multiple small packages, and I'm sending them each a few days apart, so maybe he'll enjoy opening multiple ones too. It makes it seem like more stuff, even though it's the same amount! ;)

That's a great idea! I usto send one HUGE box at least once a month. But usually it was twice a month. The lightest one I think I sent when he was on the ship was 25 pounds. The heaviest was about 50. The guys in his shop usto bitch when they would have to carry them. But I know everytime they get mail it cheers them up!
