What do you send your DH when there deployed on there birthday? i wanna send him something he'll like, something that will be sentimental, i just sent him a package so he doesnt need anything. Like really we already send them everythig they need so what is left to send. and they have limited space.:thinkin :thinkin

I save big items for him to open at home but I send him fun stuff that are smaller for the ships like music, movies etc-HTH!

I sent my Dh a movie he had been wanting because it had come out right after he left.

i made up my dh a birthday box. alot of streamers and confetti type things. in his birthday card i had alot of confetti in it so when he opened it, it all fell out in his lap. about 5 cd's.(apparantly the guys like to listen to each others cd's, they trade off...dh even came home with some new cd's that werent his..lol) i taped some of his favorite shows that they cant watch like american choppers...mythbusters and sent those.

yes. they definitly enjoyed watching thier shows that they cant see. they see lots of movies but my dh said it wasnt very often they got to see tv shows

I just made DH a birthday box since he turns 30 on deployment. I put hostess cupcakes, a 30 birthday candle, plates, blowers, napkins, old geezer playing cards, a 30th birthday sign that the guys can sign, some 30th birthday beads, plus a t-shirt, MP3 player with songs uploaded onto it and lots of snacks. Seems like they can never have enough of those!

When my husband was gone on his brithday.. I sent him a box with food and lots of stuff to share with the other guys, and I also made him a website.. he went and looked on there and all his friends and family had written him things and I took there pictures and put it by what they said.. It was really fun and cute!

I didn't send Joe anything. I got him xm radio and I'm giving that to him when he gets back. That way he can listen to his baseball games. :)

I would send him a personal message from you. IF you dont have a digital camera that takes videos then there is a disposable video camera that CVS sells that when you are done they will turn it into a DVD for you.

I sent my man all this junkfood that he loved lol. Also some soft drink he craves and never gets aswell. He was really appreciative. Lol i just suprised him by sending him a letter and picture of me in a frame. His fave pic. He was so surprised and happy he sounded like he loved it more then what he got for his Bday. Simple things like that they love. I paid 6 bucks for what i just sent him yet his birthday carepackage was worth like 200.
