Rileysmom 07-02-2006, 08:34 PM This thing rocks! I have been giving Riley fresh baby food, but with this thing, you can put chunks of grapes, pears, melons, etc, in it and Riley just munches away on it! He (L) it! Definite Thumbs up! :yes

KDMatthews 07-02-2006, 08:39 PM I had one of those for Tytan too...he loved it!
jennyb 07-02-2006, 08:53 PM I need to get one for Jer. He would love it.
IgglesmumX2 07-02-2006, 09:18 PM Bradley hated his. I bought 2 sets (4 feeders) and he's used them maybe once. If anyone wants them just PM me your addy and I'll ship them out.
:thumbsup I'll have to get some for her (for when that time comes)!
MichelleB 07-02-2006, 10:22 PM Taylor loved hers. I even put crackers in there for her.
PrincessBlue505 07-03-2006, 11:39 PM I don't use it as often as I probably should-it's just so hard to clean. It might be because I was only putting bananas in there, but the bananas would get mashed into the inside seams and it was soooo hard to get it out of there. I would wash it immediately, waiting until after it dried, washing by hand, washing in the dishwasher, even combo of all of the above, and after each use it would end up taking me forever to get all the food out of the seams. So I just gave up on the product...

You know, I never thought about that! I usually just put juicy fruits in there, but I will keep nanners out of there! Thanks for the tip!
Rileysmom 07-03-2006, 11:45 PM Taylor loved hers. I even put crackers in there for her.
Oooh, crackers? Thats a good idea too! I will try that a little later on!
Mandi 07-03-2006, 11:46 PM Man, Lance hated his!! All of my friends kiddo's back home loved them, so I was so bummed that all he wanted to do was chew on the handle!! Little nerd!
One of my friends used to put a chunk of chicken in there for her daughter to munch on, along with veggies and fruits!
Glad to hear he likes it!!

Chicken and veggies too, so many ideas! :five
wolfspawprint 07-03-2006, 11:59 PM Okay forgive me for being the non-mommy who has to ask how that works. It looks neat!
PrincessBlue505 07-03-2006, 11:59 PM There are some good ideas, maybe I'll have to whip mine out again so DD can try things that are beyond her age right now or that I'm afraid she'll choke on....
Rileysmom 07-04-2006, 12:01 AM Okay forgive me for being the non-mommy who has to ask how that works. It looks neat!
:lol Hey I didn't know what it was for a while either! I always saw it at Target, and never bothered to look for it! But basically, its just a fine mesh net bag that you can put foods into, and babies suck on the outside of the bag, so they can eat the food without choking or getting seeds, etc. It's really neat!

You stick chunks of food in the mesh bag part, close the handle, and the baby chew on the mesh bag until the food in there is mashed enough to fit through the mesh holes. This way the baby can learn to chew and eat foods beyond his/her age without choking.
wolfspawprint 07-04-2006, 12:02 AM Ohh that does sound cool!
RockstarMom 07-04-2006, 12:18 AM Aiden wasn't too fond of it, but for teething it's GREAT! We put frozen peaches in it. He wouldn't eat when he was teething, but he took the frozen fruit! :thumbsup
piggypunkinetta 07-04-2006, 12:19 AM Dylan didn't like it either. My friend's son loved his.
*~*Cori*~* 07-04-2006, 11:11 AM Jer liked his pretty well too! Especially bananas and broccoli and things like that!!!
But, Jer was eating baby food by 8 weeks and never turned back! He loved to eat as a baby and never was satisfied with just his formula. He loves fruits and veggies in his. Too bad he's going on 3 now and doesn't like to eat anymore... just what he wants when he wants. :nutts
jennyb 07-06-2006, 04:24 PM I got some for Jeremy today at Target, he is going to town on some apples right now.
Rileysmom 07-06-2006, 04:31 PM Yeah I think Riley is teething too, so munching on things like apples and pears, especially if I make them cold, feels good on those little gums! I'm glad he likes it though!
jennyb 07-06-2006, 04:35 PM Jer has cut two teeth this week.so I think the cold apple must really feel good.
Rileysmom 07-06-2006, 05:14 PM Holy cow! 2 teeth! I bet it feels great!
jennyb 07-06-2006, 05:40 PM The 1 broke through on the 3rd than the 2nd cut through yesterday. He is a much happier boy now. lol
CoffeeGirl 07-06-2006, 05:58 PM What a cool little feeder!:thumbsup :thumbsup
