What exercise do you do? Has anyone tried the preg workout dvds? I was already out of shape, so now I really want to do some sort of workout so I can be a little healthier throughout and afterwards.

I just walked. I could never get into the pregnancy yoga tape I have. Cardio is the best IMO. ;)

I wouldnt do anything, until you talk to your doctor. You dont want to do something harmful to you or the little one.

Unless you have been working out before, you should probably talk to your doc about starting any kind of new excercise routine, I was using the exercise bike at the gym until about 1 months ago and then switched to swimming

I have definitely not been working out, so I'll wait. I was gaining before I became pregnant, so I'll have that much extra to lose. I wish I knew how to swim though.

Do they have lessons at the base pool? *do you have a base pool?* ALSO, ask your doc about water aerobics. Its a good workout, but not too stressful :)

even if you haven't been working out you can walk, and at least that's something.

I'll be doing that. I need to smooth out these jiggly thighs!

I do 2 different Yoga dvd's a week, walk about 4 to 5 times a week for an hour to two hrs each. And up until we moved I was at the gym about 3 to 4 times a week, doing light cardio and about 30 minutes of weight training. Never going over 80lbs. The same work out ive done with all my pregnancies.

When the weather is nice enough I walk 3miles a day. When the kids are in school I go to the gym 4x a week, was working with a personal trainer once a week too, and probably will start back up in the fall when the kids are back in school again.

For right now though I am using Denise Austin's "Personal Training" video. It's really good! I just got a workout mat to hopefully do the ab workouts a little more comfortably.
