This week makes 9 years! This enlistment is up in 2009- he'll have 12 years in. It would be stupid to get out so he'll probably stay in until he hits 20. :)

I was in the Marine Corps for 10 years got out on a medical discharge.

7.5 yrs! 8 in sep.

12 years so far.... he would do 30 if allowed... LOL

He hit 9 years in April. He's up for reenlistment in '09.

John has been in for 9 years. 4 years the first time and 5 years this time. When this enlistment is up he'll be at 13 years so he will definately retire.

Josh was "active duty" for 5 years! :)
Now, he is on inactive reservist status till 2008! Then he will be strictly civi! ;)

He is just a few weeks shy of his three year mark. He's thinking about another four years, but he's just not sure yet. At that point he might just decide to make a career of it. Who knows!

10 years this November

20 years, 8 months. He retired last month and we are on terminal leave till the end of September

21 Years. He's been retired since July of 2002.

Tony is coming up on 8 so I put 8-12. He'll have 12 in when this current enlistment is up.

19 yrs this past June. He will go as far as they will let him or till he makes the rank he wants :P

We have both been in for 3 years. He has 3 more and I have 1 more.

Just wrapping up his 20. I only did 3 years.

15 yrs last month, would have been 17 but he was out 2 years on Temp med retirement. I did 4 yrs 1 mth.

Dh has been in 6 yrs this month

James was in for six years of active but service time he is in the reserves now is 9 years.

Working on 15 years active, plus 3 years reserve. The 3 years don't count for retirement but they do for pay purposes.

He's been in so far for a year hes only doing 4 im pretty sure of that.

My Mickey has been in the military as long as we have been together. We started dating July 31, 1999 and he joined the Navy Auguest 19,1999. SO it has been 7 years of our lives together.

I said less than 4 years but I'm not sure if ROTC counts. If it does, this is his 5th year of ROTC... but he's had a military mindset for at least 10 years. haha.

DH will have been in for 2 years in March. I know it's not long - but he's "older" as well ( 24 ) :) He'll be in till 2011 - then in inactive reserves until 2013.

I believe he's going into his 3rd year.

It'll be 3 years in a couple of weeks.

9 years in this month but only 7 are counting towards retirement.
