Did you try to get pregnate, or it just happened?

Most people I know it "just happened" but that's probably because most of my friends aren't trying yet.... if that makes sense...

We decided it was time to try to have a baby. Six weeks later one was on the way :giggle

We tried for all 3 of my kids. Got pregnant on the first try each time too.

We actullay werent preventing for 4 years. But at the sametime wasnt really trying. The 5th year we decided to start seeing a specialist to see if we could have any. We only saw the Dr once for a consult. After witch Nick was supposed to get a sperm test then we were to call and make another appoitment.We were waiting to see if insurance would cover a second visit. I got sick with a sinis infection. Witch is normal for me that time of the year.So I went to my regular PCM and they gave me a test cause I had also been vomiting. And turns out I was. I had always had irregular cycles and thought there was no way I could get pregant all by ourselves without help.So it was a suprise. Had an US a few weeks later and said I was 9 weeks along.

We "officially" started trying in May, so this is only our "second" month! I hope it happens NOW! LOL

We planned and tried for a baby!

My first one we tried for a year. My second one...well....stopped breastfeeding the first one at 2 months,went on a date with the husband at the time,had too much whisky (i dont drink anymore...lol), and 9 months later my son was born.............lol:shrug

We tried for almost from the time we got married (may 94) to get pregnant, we didn't get pregnant until Nov 95). That was our first.

Our second--when Bay turned one--we both started talking--decided after his praents left we would try---day they left I stopped talking the pill, one month later. I was pregnant with Kayt

our third ---dh came home from boot camp and we had fun.

Our fourth was planned but I got pregnant early then planned.

our first was more of if it happens it happens,
the second, third and fourth where planned almost down to the day.

We tried for 9.5 years to get pregnant with my son. (L)

This lil miracle we decided to stop preventing and go back on the same fertility med combo we used with my son later this year and we didnt have to ;) This lil miracle happened all on its own (L)

We tried for both kids though didn't think I'd actually get pregnant. They were pre-deployment babies.

That's what I'm hoping I have a "pre-deployment" baby! lol!

Our 3 year old was a very unexpected suprise. We planned and tried for Jeremy.

With Breanna it just happened. John messed up 1 time and we we were pregnant (we tried the withdrawal method. I don't recommend it) With Johnny it was planned. We tried for 2 months and I was preggo. I got the ovulation tests then, too.

DH had a deployment coming up, and we wanted to be preggo during deployment so the baby would be born after he got back. We wanted to "officially" start trying in the spring of last year for his summer deploymet, but once we started researching, things were saying it takes a couple an average of 8 months to concieve, and we'd been together for 10 years without any "surprises," so we became afraid we'd have a lot of trouble concieving and kind of started trying earlier than planned. We knew when I was ovulating and that it was close to then and it could result in pregnancy, but we weren't all out trying for it, like right at ovulation or anything. Anyway, it was the first time we'd not been careful close to when I was ovulating and I ended up preggo. Guess we didn't have any problems after all and have just been careful all this time...Due to trying before originally planned in response to our fears, DD was born in the middle of his deployment....

WOW! We've been together for six years and we didn't have a "surprise" either, so we are hoping this happens so that we can have the baby before he leaves! He knows he'll miss out on five months of the babies life, but he's happy to be at the birth, and then after this deployment we are headed to shore duty, so it would be nice to go this way! I did not know that it takes the average person eight months of trying, that's good to know!

I was just learning how to do Natural Planning with my 1st prengancy, as I wasn't on BC for whatever reason and allergic to latex so steer cleared of condoms. Thought I understood it and dh would do withdraw...but opps didn't work and just shy of our year anniversary we had Zac!

Summer was a BC baby. I took the pill at the same time everyday...the doctor just failed to let me know that it takes sometime for it to actually WORK! So 13 months after my son was born...Summer was born!

Dh and I did Natural Planning and lots of praying until I had a bad day with the kids and told him if he didn't want anymore he could do something about it with my blessing finally - he didn't hesitate a MOMENT and didn't really give me a chance to change my mind at all either! LOL Don't regret it at all...another one of my husbands smarter moves!

Both were "ummm..... honey!" babies. No planning here.

With Zaccuriah we weren't really "trying" but we weren't doing anything to prevent it. With Nikolai (the one I am pregnant with) we decided that we wanted our first two close in age so when Zach was three months we said we'd start trying, only to find out I was pregnant about a month later.

Emily and Noah were planned :)

Savannah and Gabe, my birth control failed with both. Chris we tried for 2 years

Im not voting only because it's a combo of both. We were planning on trying after 3 months of going off the ring. However with in 35 days of going off I got preggo.

We planned our first 2 but our 3rd is our surprise.

We tried for the boys. DD was unplanned since I was still in high school.

i have to take a natural family planning class. well its strongly recommended through the church so that's the method we will probably use. i'll start tracking and stuff on his first deployment so i'll have 3 months (hopefully only) to get used to what i have to do

We planned... Dh left on a 3 monther in Sept. of 2002, and we started trying when he got home, just before Christmas 2002. Because of the pill I had been on, it took us a year to get pregnant, and Miss Camryn was concieved on my birthday, December 6, 2003.

I guess I have to vote 'just happened' since I was on bc and we were obviously trying NOT to get pregnant

Well Jamison we tried for 9 months and it took that long bc I was having issues...with this one I'm preggo with we planned as a welcome home baby and that's what we got :D
