Last month I started Ryan on solids (gerber) he seemed to do pretty good the first 3 weeks but now he won't eat any, he use to love Applesauce, Pears, Bananas but now everytime I tried to feed him he spits the food out. I tried switching brands but is not working, it seems like the only thing he wants to eat is ME, I'm still breast feeding, so is this normal??? :dunno

Very normal. Their tastes change so much. Things my son loved 1 week he wont touch the next week. Hang in there!!! All you can do is keep trying

yep and four months is a tad early for solids....I would wait untill atlease 6 mos. he can still do very well on breastmilk alone.

Very normal and he's still pretty little. Eating those things right now is really just for practice. His main source of nutrition should be milk (either momma or formula) at this point.

He just may not be ready too. we did cereals at 4 months, then veggies at 6, fruits at 7 and meats at 8. He really only needs breastmilk or formula right now as a MAIN source of nutrtion. solids are a bonus :) and its just trial and error. Just keep trying and he'll get the hang of it :)

yes, hayden did the same thing to me! so did madison. i didn't even start either of them on solids until 6 months, then they loved it at first and went through a spitting phase.

it didn't last too long though.
