Dh enlisted in New York. Our home is in California. If he changes his home of record with the Navy, will they move him home to Cali when he gets out, or are they going to make everything go to New York? :thinkin

when DH got out the first time. we were told that they will move us anywhere we want up to the mileage between Jax and South Dakota. if we go over the mileage, we pay the difference. this was also in 98.

Gotcha :) Dh doesn't have much stuff in Cuba, so we're just going to ship it home. Its the plane tickets, etc that are going to have to be dealt with.

I think the final move can be anywhere. But I might be wrong.

I didn't know we could change it. Someone at an office told my husband that they only move to the home of record, but of course they didn't let him know that he could change it. Thanks for bringing it up. Kevin enlisted in San Diego, and we're from LA, but we don't want to move to San Diego and may not move to LA.
