Question, and I'm sorry for been so detailed. When you get that elastic discharge, does it mean you ovulated, you are ovulating or you will ovulate?

First sign of elasticy, egg white cervical fluid means you are about to ovulate. Are you taking your temp too?

Shaky the egg white cervical mucus is what you are looking for... if you are planning something when you go visit *if you go* that is what you are looking for or avoiding :D and YES you should be able to stretch it out between 2 fingers ;)

I *believe" the discharge like that is a sign that you will ovulate... I could be wrong though...

ok ok I feel stupid that I didnt know that. BUt Ive also been on birth control since i was about 14 or so. So that prevents me from ovulating. I DONT KNOW THESE THINGS IM SORRY. :banghead :banghead

It is fertile mucus. The nice egg white elastic stretchy mucus is the good stuff. Means you are about or are ovulating. Once you ovulate your mucus changes consistancy and then usually dries up until close to your period :)

lol no Apryl I'm not looking or avoiding it lol I'm just trying to learn more about my cycle for before dh comes home. I'm not taking my tempeture. I just knew that elastic thingy was cause the ovulation but didn't know if it was before during or after :) Thank you ladies!
