Congratulations on your pregnancy!! Personally, I don't know of any tricks of the trade when it comes to nausea. My SIL had HORRIBLE morning sickness, only it lasted all day...her doctor prescribed something for her that helped enough that she could keep some food down, maybe you could ask your doc if there's anything you can do to help. :dunno I'm sorry you're going through it :hugs

try peperment tea that helped a little but it allso got old. I ended up getting on what I call my puke pills at 9 weeks it helped allot. I got to the point I couldnt keep anything down. I was at the point that I had a feeling it would never go away but at second trimester time poof it was all gone. I was just thinking I don't know what the name of it is but there is this anti nasea syrup it has a rainbow on the bottle you can ask the pharmacy they will be able to show you. I couldnt take it because of my gag reflex.

peppermint tea worked for me, so did eating as soon as I woke up. I found that the breakfast hot pockets worked great, because I could nuke it and it would be ready in no time. I had days where I was so sick that I threw up toast and sprite, so I know how you feel... :pukey
I know it sounds weird right now, but you will adjust to the baby, and you'll eventually learn what foods you can stomach (literally) and Remember: PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CRAVINGS! If I craved things and then ate something different, boy did I ever pay the price.. Camryn made mommy puke it all right back up... :pukey
If you talk with your OB and you're having SERIOUS morning sickness (we mom's know that it's not only in the mornings..LOL) you can get a prescription for phenergran.. (not sure on the spelling of that) There's some over the counter nausea syrup that works well too, and is safe for pregnant women. I can't remember the name of it right now, but I've known people who've taken it.

Congratulations!! Sorry i can't help you out much, however my sister is 17 weeks pregnant and when she feels sick she goes and grabs an iceblock..lemonade flavoured i think. It seems to help her.

Lemons are actually a "cure" for morning sickness as well.. I remember reading that in the book my OB gave me..
I forgot about this in my previous post, but my dr. did recommend eating at protein (like lunch meat or cheese) before bed so that your stomach's not completely empty when you sleep and wake.. it's supposed to help to.
