What are the best areas to look for to live when you are stationed in Mayport? I'll have a 1st grader if we were to move there. I just want to check out areas before a final decision is made. Thanks :D

IMO, live near the Intercoastal waterway. Ft. Caroline area, Hodges Blvd, Kernan Blvd, etc etc. Pretty much anywhere off of Beach or Atlantic Blvds that are near the Intercoastal.

If we moved back there I would put Breanna in the schools between San Pablo and Kernan and then JTB and Atalntic Blvd. I would stay away from the schools by Mayport base. There are others I'm sure are ok but I know those schools are good. You can try the site greatschools.com. You'll want the schools with zip codes 32225, 32224, etc. Good Luck.

mandrian schools are good too. i live right of kernan and the schools here are good. so anywheres on this side is good.

Lone Star Elementary is near Ft. Caroline and Monument Rd.

Sabal Palm Elementary is on Kernan Blvd (which is a very good location)

Abess Park Elementary is off of Girvin Rd & Atlantic Blvd (also a good location)

We were stationed in NAS Jax. So I don't know about Mayport.
