hi, this is mine and my husbands first move and i know he is going to trade in his ticket to come home after "A" school and pay to go to norfolk himself. but i was wondering about me and our daughter, are they going to pay for us to go over there with him and do they give us the tickets are do they remburse us later if they do send us. and also how does moving our stuff work? we don't have a place right now so we plan on staying at a hotel over there until we find one, what can we do with our stuff. we are moving in only 3 weeks. i don't know who to set things up for moving with, my husband is in MS and i'm in CA. i need help, i have no idea what i'm doing. liz

The Navy will fly you and your children to Norfolk. But I'm not sure if they let you trade in your tickets to go home. They'll let him, but i'm not sure about ya'll. The moving company will keep your stuff in storage until ya'll are ready to move. And they'll reimburse you for the hotels that you stay in. But I think it's only for like two weeks. Welcome to the site!!

He should be setting all of that set up at school.
As long as you guys are married then yes they will move you your dd and your stuff.
Do you have a car?
If so why don't you just drive they pay per diem.
Are you near a base in Cali? If so call Personal Property and see if they can help you get things started this it the worst time of year to move and it may not happen in the 3 weeks that you have
