This is our first deployment together and SO is supposed to be coming home in about four weeks (give or take some days) :freakout . I want to make a nice welcome home banner to put on the garage of our new home, but I'm scared it will look cheap. Any ideas of where to get supplies or buy a nice sign to put in the yard?

Use a plastic table cloth from the dollar store. Joy did that and it was so cute! I just used paper from the printer. It was ok. And you still can color anything on the table cloth. Congrats on the soon-to-be homecoming!
