I did do it but I was always VERY covered & VERY discreet!

Yes, with something over the baby and my breast. Usually a thin baby blanket. Enough to be modest but not too much to overheat the baby. I've been breastfeeding and walking at the mall and DH didn't even have a clue what I was doing. :heehee I guess you just learn to be discreet. :D

I didn't really go that many places when I was b/f my kiddos. If we did go somewhere I would do it in the car, or if we at someones home, I would use a bedroom. I just felt uncomortable in front of people. I have no problem with others doing it where ever they need to though!

I did and still do, although its harder to be discreet now that she is old enough to grab the blanket or my shirt and everyone knows what I'm doing!

I always nursed wherever baby was hungry. I wore nursing shirts the majority of the time and they make nursing very discreet.

Yes. When I nursed and if he was hungry I fed him. I was discreet and didn't flash everyone etc. He and I were covered up and sometimes, if we were in a resturant, I would go out to our vehicle. But if your baby is hungry, your baby is hungry and needs to eat!

I only nursed in public if there was a mother's room. Even then, I was very shy about doing it and ended up only nursing for 2 months because of it. With this baby, I have so much more support and know a little more about what to expect so I will try to nurse him whenever and wherever he decides he needs it!

I did when I breastfed. I didn't that often but there were times when we were out and I would need to. I was always covered so nobody could see anything. Someone might have known what I was doing but they couldn't see anything.

Yes I did/do, not as much with Hayden though because he is a looky loo and won't stay latched on if there is anything going on. He won't stand for a blanket over him either.

Madison was much easier, didn't like the blanket but I always wore big shirts that covered everything. She at least would stay latched even if a marching band was going by.

I sure did. It no different than a mom giving a bottle. When a baby is hungry they are hungry

I tried to do it but had problems so it did not work. But as long as a woman covers herself I have no problem with it. I encourage more women to do it.

yep. after nursing each of my boys on seperate cross country car trips ( we always end up having a baby a few weeks before we would PCS) I have nursed about everywhere....Pizza hut, Wal- mart, Truck stop restaurants, Taco bell, Mc Donalds, in the car (lean over the carseat) ...........and the list goes on.....

Yep, I NIP and would not cover her with a blanket (she hated something covering her). I swear someone could come up and talk to me and still not realize I was nursing my daughter. My thought was my daughter is hungry and I am not going to not nurse her because someone else has a problem with it. When she was hungry I fed her no matter where we were.

It wasn't asked in this thread but I also think it is absolutely disgusting when a nursing momma is told to take it to a bathroom. You would never tell a bottlefeeding mom to do so. And I myself would never eat in a bathroom. Why should a nursing mom?

Heck yeah, I say if baby's hungry, he's hungry! One time I was walking to the bathroom and this woman shoved me because there was a line and I was walkin inside to feed DS. Me and my sister were both going off on her! It was hilarious! Oh, and DS was crying the whole time because he was starving!

Yes i have with both kids. No problems at all.

I still NIP with Trent. i will do it anywhere. i have no shame!!! :lol airplanes, resturants, bookstores, in front of family, at the zoo, even while swimming!! i dont cover up because i dont feel i have too. trent is pretty good about staying on. of course there are times when i have flashed people but hey who has not seen a boob before!:dunno i just cover my boob real quick and move on.
