This may seem like a stupid question but is their a certain attire that should be worn to a deployment cermony? I may just be looking for a reason to shop but I am just curious. Thanks in advance. :D

Yeah, if i had 3 kids I would just be trying to survive. I dunno.... Jon's unit is having a deployment ceremony a few days before the set block for deployment. It might just be an army thing. This is my first deployment so i dont have a clue. I guess a t-shirt and jeans it is. Thanks girls.

what time is the ceremony? and where? I don't know anything about deployment ceremony but the time of the day could give me an idea on what to wear.

I have been to two of them with my friend her hubby is Army. I would just wear something nice that you would wear to church.

I have seen people wear everything from shorts, tank tops, and flip flops to nice dresses with heels.

I've never been to a deployment ceremony, I'm sorry I can't help. Probably just something nice though. I'm not really in tune with the ceremonial traditions of any branches besides the navy. Keep us posted so I can learn something new!! :)
