We are heading to Guam next month ... it was a short notice assignment, so we have MANY questions that can't get answered by anyone yet (since we won't have hard-copy orders until next week sometime:banghead ).

Does anyone have any info on it? Schools? Housing??

I lived there last year. I can't help you with school questions since we don't have any kids. Housing on the Navy base there was very easy to get into and they just repainted them, last year. Not sure about the AFB I'm sure that as far as getting into housing it should be about the same. We went to the housing office and had a house the same day. lol

What else do you want to know?

HI!!! We are currently stationed here!! It is beautiful, and there is alot of history here!! AAFB is pretty small, but it is right on the beach. Of course it is hot here and right now we are in our rainy season! Housing here is small but decent. We got a house like the 3rd day we were here!! The school on base I don't know too much about, although I will this year!! All in all, Guam isn't too bad of a place, although you can get island fever very quickly!! Well hope that helps some, if you have anymore questions, please don't hesitate to ask!! take care!!

Is the housing nice? We will need a four bedroom. Also, what do you wish you had brought with you that you didn't think about before? :)
