I'm with Kristi on this one. Been there done that and thankfully will NEVER have to do it again.

Why was it so bad?

I'll have to ask my dh when he gets home since I'm not the one that worked onboard.

I dont know specifics on why he didnt like it. I know there was some things in his command that pissed him off tho......I know I was quite peeved when they got extended 20 days before returning home from 6 months turning into a 10 and a half monther or whatever. (id have to look. they got some plaque for like over 249 days out) Yes I know crap happens and thats great. But the fact they were extended indefinatly....We had to find out thru the media and then WE were the ones who told our husbands THEY were extended...And we had little to no support during that whole entire ordeal. It was horrendous. I am sure things on the Lincoln arent all bad but that was one of the last things we had happen before leaving so it sticks fresh in my mind. ANd it isnt the fact they were extended. It happens. Its the way it all went down....
