This may not sound too appetizing but it is yummy. My son and his buddies love it!
3 11oz cans mandarin oranges
3 20oz cans crushed pineapple
2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons flour
3 teaspoons salt
4 eggs, beaten
3 cups juice from canned fruit
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Largest size conainer of Cool Whip
10.5oz bag of mini marshmallows
one package Acini de Pepe pasta
1) Drain fruit and save juices.
2) Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, rinse, and cool.
3) Prepare custard over medium heat. Mix sugar and flour. Then add salt, juice, and eggs. Stir until thickened. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Cool to room temperature.
4) Combine custard, pasta, fruit, marshmallows, and Cool Whip.
Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to one week.
