On August 1, 2006 Military OneSource will offer the new Sesame Street DVD, Talk, Listen, Connect: Helping Families Cope with Military Deployment at no cost to military members and their families.
Elmo and his red, fuzzy father star in this DVD, in an effort to teach young military children and their caregivers how best to handle a parent's deployment. Performed in English and Spanish, it will not air on television. The DVD covers all phases of deployment -- from predeployment to homecoming -- and the unique challenges each phase poses.
