Here is a pic from tonight of my kids and our family dog Sasha...tomorrow at 8 the vet is coming to the house to take her to the bridge. I read the rainbow bridge to my parents and kids as well as the notes from everyone on here they were DEEPLY moved...thank you. It was hard enough saying goodbye to her but watching my kids break down like they did was even harder...and my stepdad who is usually a tough man. my boys are each sleeping with our dogs tonight:)....those dogs know when to be extra loving. And to top it off when we were driving home DH called he is deployed right now....and my 6 yr old crys out more saying "I wish Doug was here to say goodbye to Sasha" ugh its so sad:(

Awww, I am so sorry. Losing a pet is very hard. May I ask why you are having him put down?

Oh Im so sorry Its so sad when those things have to be done.

she got to the point she was not able to walk on her back legs long and have accidents all over herself...her dignity wasnt there anymore. She is peaceful now shes at the bridge as of 8:15am this am:(.

Our vet gave us a copy of it with an angel and a shving of my Dane's fur when he crossed over to the bridge. It was one of the hardest things that I ever had to do in my life. :hugs
