anyone in va hear of the uss san antonio?or anything about it? my b/f is on that ship and it recently got home ported there.

It was there for about 2 weeks maybe, they just left wed. to go to texas to get it commissoned.

is what an LPD Or a LHD. you mean what kind of ship it is? my hubby told me its an amphibious assault ship i believe. something that carrys marines. i might be wrong though.

Yeah they both are Amphibs Cat.
But dh couldn't remember exactly which one it was ;)
He didn't care he is just looking at it being a good way to get info on Jobs after the Navy with all of the"folks" that are going to be there ;)

its an LPD and it carries marines. whats he working on it for? where's he stationed?

My dh won't be ON it but he is an MP so he will be doing security for all of the big wigs that will be there.
Dh was on the LPD 10 USS Juneau which is currently stationed in Japan :D

Oh and he is stationed at NAS Corpus Christi
