So I spent all day today at Bridal Shows with my Mom...it was so much fun! We hadn't spent a day together in awhile, so that was awesome, and then I got A TON of good local vendor information and even won a door prize...a bottle of wine, and a $150 gift certificate to a jewelry store...not bad for free admission. Plus there is lots of good food and drinks :-) Are any of you other ladies who are planning weddings going to shows in your area?!?! How are they?!?! I love the ones in the Central Florida area...absolutely a blast...my sister-in-law who just married my brother in April always jokes about taking off her wedding band and still going to the shows, just because they are so much fun, I think I might have to do the same thing after I get married ;)

I've always wanted to go to one! I know there is one coming around here but Im not sure of the date. I guess I should google it and check it out! Thanx!! :D

There was one not to long ago in Dallas... I wish I could have gone... seems like every time we have one I've got something else going on! It would be nice to get some information, and just have some questions answered... sigh.. maybe i'll make it to one.. they seem like a lot of fun!!

i went to the one in houston today. it was great, it was a long day though. lots of great information, they have another one this summer that i'm going to hit up.

Jill, I think I'll have to drive down to Houston and spend the weekend going to the bridal show with you! If I don't get to go to one as a bride then I'll just go to one as a wife who is a friend of the bride! LOL! It'll be a nice vacation too since DF (who will be DH) will be out on deployment and I'll have to keep myself busy busy!!

I haven't been to one in soo long. I was always over whelmed by them when I went. :lmao

yeah the houston one is huge, i thought i was going to die when i first walked in lol lol steph that'd be great...df actually said if he was here this summer he'd want to go too :D
