Hey girls I know I had posted a previous post about Korea but I was still wondering if there was any chance that any of you had been stationed their or new anyone who is stationed there or has been there and if you or they liked it. That is supposed to be our next post and I wanted to really now how the housing was and the food prices and how there weather is. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

I can visit him but he doesn't rank high enough for me to move on any base. We would have to get a sponser and it is really hard to get one when you aren't high ranking.

I have friends that are up there with out command sponsership. There is no housing on post up there at all, the command sponsered families either live off post like the non-command sponsered or they live on post down at Yongsan.
It is hard to get command sponership with almost any rank, unless you are certain jobs here.

Yea that is why I had to make the hard descion to stay here and wait it out till he comes home for mid tour like some other gals did on here. Yea it is hard and I hate it everyday but it is well worth it for him to have to extend his time there because I am there and I would never see him even if I did move there.

I'm currently living in korea....my hubby was stationed here but got deployed and he'll be back here in july. Korea isn't so bad but for someone who's been here for a long time it's boring hahahaha. Sightseeings are nice. Too bad you couldn't come...it would of been a nice experience.
