Today, my guy left for Norfolk after being up here for about 10 days. He stopped by on his way down. It was only for a few minutes, but I was so glad I could see him one more time. Anyway, we were standing in my kitchen hugging and I start crying. I always try not to, but it happens. I could scense that he didn't want to go, and I could hear it in his voice. He said that he hated leaving. I could see in his eyes that he wasn't just saying it. He wiped a tear off my face before we hugged again. This time he said, "You know why I put on the uniform? To protect you." (L) He never leaves me in tears. I love him.
When he got down there, he called me to say he was ok and to see how I was holding up. *sigh* He is so sweet.:blush
