my hubby is currently stationed in okinawa.....We were talking on the phone this morning when he told me that he wants us to have a baby!!!! :cp I am planning to visit him in October for about 2 weeks. And he wants us to start trying then.

got a question.....if i do get pregnant will they allow me to move to okinawa with him cause he is currently on a 2 year unaccompanied assignment

I'd say no especially if your not married. unaccompanied is unaccompanied

Congrats on the decision to start a family. Have fun.

Honestly moving overseas is very hard. If you get pregnant in Oct. You would have the baby in June or July and he would be going to a new duty station about 6 months later (depends how long he has been there now) It can take months for you to get your furniture. It really might not be worth the whole move. Just something for you to think about.

no, unaccompanied is unaccompanied. Even men with wives and children ect sometimes get unaccompanied duty and thier familes cannot go needless to say.

Congrats that your SO wants to start. Needless to say mine hasnt said that yet.. :(. But it's ok were young, so we can have lots and lots of practice :)
