Just curious at what age your child potty trained. Dylan is starting to go in the potty, i'm just thinking he is too young.

How old is he??

Dominic started right about 2 months before he turned 3.. *sitting down* he started to stand and potty once he reached height.. and Since DAD was doing he wanted to stand as well....

After 3.. he was pretty much good to go-- occasional accidents.. but that is seriously once a blue moon..

Savannah potty trained herself at 2 1/2
Gabe was 4 1/2
Chris still has yet to show any interest in it at all. I am one of those that the the needed things around the house for them to do when they are ready. Gabe was the only one that i have/will push. but he was 4 1/2 and still not going potty at all!!!

Madison started about two months before she turned too. If a child is willingly going in the potty/is interested in going then I don't think there is an age that is too young.

Ericka turned 3 in April and is still not totally trained. I always believed that she would just train herself when she was ready :rolleyes Little did I know :)

Jaxon started being interested pretty early (Around 14-16 months) but he wasn't ready to fully potty train until almost 2 1/2. He was day and night time trained by 2 1/2, right before we brought Shelby home.

Shelby is only 13-14 months and is not ready at all yet. No interest and no signs of being interested. I'll probably start working with her a little bit in another 6 months or so.

Adalyna was about 3 months away from her 3rd birthday. She did it herself. One day she just said she was done took off her pullup and that was it,no accidents nothing. It was pretty amazing cause the Drs told us she wouldn't be able to potty train because of kidney problems until she was much older.Michael on the other hand was 3 1/2.He knew how and would if we reminded him or if we were out but at home nope.He was always to busy playing or watching tv.And would forget to go.We finally had to stop putting pullups on him so that he would remember to go.After about a day of wet pants he decided he didn't like having to change and help clean the mess each time.It took longer then actually just going to the bathroom.

Colin was 3 ½ by the time he finally potty trained. He really did not want to. :rolleyes

Caleb is going to be 3 in a couple of weeks and he will go on occasion...

Today Dylan wanted a diaper. I did get him to go once he got up, but after that he went and got a diaper. I'm just going to keep asking him and if he wants to do it then great. If not, his is still young so i'm not too worried. Thank you ladies for your votes and comments. :D

I agree. My IL's tried to say Aiden was too young. He was 2 1/2, but he wanted to go potty. Gwen is showing interest much earlier than Aiden did. She is 19 months and when she says she wants to go sit on the potty, we let her.
