df is gonna be on a sub where is the sub base in cali. he's not sure if he's gonna be there yet but i'm trying to find out for school purposes

The sub Base is Point Loma in SD. VERY SMALL base.

There is housing here in Pt. Loma. Nice too!!! You would save money if you didn't live in housing. There are lots of nice apartment complexes around here. Mariner's cove is nice. Here are the law schools I have found. Neither are far from point loma.

Here is the apartment. They are about 2-3 miles from the sub base. The housing here is point loma has some wierd waiting list for two bedrooms. Not sure how it works though.

Point Loma is awesome.....thats where DH is stationed. We live in the Mission Valley area and he said the commute isnt too bad. Very gorgeous

about how much are bills on average

When we rented we paid about $50 for gas and electric, $130 for cable, internet, and phone, $50 ever two months for water. We never paid trash so I can't help with that. HTH
