DD has decided that she only wants to take a 30-45 minute nap vice the usualy 2-3 hours. This has happened 3 times now in the last week. She doesn't put herself back to sleep. Is this usual? It seems that she's too young (18 months) to be giving up naps, and I know she needs sleep...
Zach's been doing that lately too. He doesn't want to sleep. Granted he is on two naps a day so I think I am going to cut one of his. I hope you DD starts sleeping well again, good luck.

My oldest did her best to give up naps around that age. It was hard because she needed a nap but would not be tired until almost bedtime.
My ds is trying to stop taking his naps. I put him in his room at about noon and here it is 1:30 and he might finally be sleeping.
ETA- nevermind I just heard him as soon as I posted.:sigh

All 3 of mine did that at that age. Savannah and Gabe just quick with the long naps and Chris now take 2 45 min naps now.

She definately still needs a nap at that age. Maybe there's a reason she's waking up? Or maybe it's just a short phase and she'll start napping longer again soon! At least I hope so for you!
