My DH is coming to Norfolk this week. Me and the kids will be up this summer after school is over here in Tennessee. Hope I can still give you a shout if I need some help then!! We are new to the Navy life.

Hi...my husband just got his orders for Norfolk, so we are now looking for a place to live. We'll be moving there in March...any ideas? I'm pregnant, so I want a place where I can go for walks, etc...once she's born in April...family atmosphere, quieter - we're "older" (lol, we're both 29), so no "wild" party areas! haha..

There are good places it all depends on what your limit for rent is. It's expensive to live in nicer areas here.

hey all you ladies that live in newport news, we just moved from there. I am just curious as to where exactly you guys live in newport news. we lived right off of jefferson ave in the waverton place impressions apts. anyone of you guys live there? i kinda miss it up there in a way. i dont miss the traffic but i do miss the area.

Hey yall! I am moving there in a few months. DF got his orders and thats where we will be. If you know of any good apartment complexs that are gated and all let me know. I am so excited.

It looks like the unofficial orders to Norfolk are going to May now. But the Navy has no money to move us so they are not sending out official orders yet. Has this happend to anyone else?
