View Full Version : Toxic dog food recall - 23 dogs already gone Becca 01-10-2006, 08:35 AM http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/12/30/toxic.dogfood.ap/ This kind of thing just pisses me off. WorldClassCandles 01-10-2006, 01:04 PM How in gods name can someone do that to ANY animal or even humans.. Just sickens me to even think of it. Aundi 01-10-2006, 01:53 PM The article never says.........was it deliberate? This sort of stuff is so scary BUT if it was "accidental" or "naturally" occurring then I would be more a little more forgiving. Freak accidents are a little more easy to swallow, than a deliberate malicious act:( Ashnbri 01-10-2006, 02:11 PM I watched it online and a woman said her vet bills were already up to 3500 for one of her dogs which needs medication and she has to force feed it. Her other dog died from it and she said she called them lots of times and about 2 weeks ago they said they will pay for her vet bills but she hasn't heard anything from them. Aundi 01-10-2006, 02:24 PM The lady the I got my first papillon from (in Maine) fed this "Diamond" food to her dogs, of course that was over three years ago. She was a breeder and bred several different dogs. I hope she has not lost any dogs. Prior to her telling me about "Diamond" food I had NEVER heard of it. She swore by it and loved the food for her dogs:( What has me worried is that this lady was a low income just trying to survive breeder. VERY SAD:no Maine IS on the list:( Rachael 01-10-2006, 05:57 PM :( |
