Which HPT's detect the lowest level of HCG? I have taken 4 tests since Friday and all but one have came back negative. The one that actually showed anything, the line is soooooo faint I am not sure if its even a line or an evap line. :confused

I remember with my twins my HCG levels were so low it took 9 tests and I was a little over 2 months along to show anything. So I am just trying to figure out if any of you ladies know which test would be best and when do you think would be the best time to retest?
I know I would have conceived on the 12th of Aug if I am. My period was due between the 17-23 time frame. So I would only be like 2 1/2 weeks along. Is that too early to detect anything?:dunno

I tested positive on the first day I missed my period (2 weeks). The early response ones are supposed to detect the lower amounts.

I detected mine 2 weeks late after my missed period too.

I detected this pregnancy before I was even late. I used a generic from the NEX and then I used the EPT digital and it showed pregnant

Once your period is due most tests should detect it. Did you use first morning urine? That is usually the strongest!

* At 14 DPO, the average HCG level is 48 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-119 mIU/ml.
* At 15 DPO, the average HCG level is 59 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-147 mIU/ml.
* At 16 DPO, the average HCG level is 95 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 33-223 mIU/ml.
* At 17 DPO, the average HCG level is 132 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-429 mIU/ml.
* At 18 DPO, the average HCG level is 292 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 70-758 mIU/ml.
* At 19 DPO, the average HCG level is 303 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 111-514 mIU/ml.
* At 20 DPO, the average HCG level is 522 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 135-1690 mIU/ml.

Do you know when you ovulated?

It looks like you could be up to 17DPO, about 3-4 days late depending on your lutenal phase and still not get a positive. :dunno Hope that helps :D

Well I know for sure if I did conceive, it would have been ON the 12th of Aug. So I could be no more then 2 1/2 weeks. I usually ovulate anywhere from 6-10 days before my period is due. My cycle is so screwy :mumble

Oh well... I give up lol. I think I will just wait for my next cycle and see what happens. If nothing still then I will just go into the dr.
