When you drop off your SO for dets, and you have to have him there at like 5 am or another time earlier than you're normally functioning, do you get ready for the day before you take him, or do you kind of throw on something that's somewhat presentable and not really worry about how pulled together you are. I, personally, haven't given a crap about making myself look pretty to drop him off for these past two dets :giggle I brushed my teeth, put on a sweat suit(you know, the cute kind with the matching jacket and like flare pants) and put my hair in a pony tail and I was ready to go. How about you guys?

I don't get all dressed up or ready........haha he just gets dropped off. Usually he needs to be dropped off around the same time the kids go to school so it's a mess. I just drop him off and wave goodbye.

It would depend on if I was getting out of the car. If I stay in the car my pj's work. If I have to get out and be around other people I would put on some jeans.

I've only dropped him off at the airport. Once he took a cab (I had flown to AK so couldn't take him), once we went to the gate with him and the last time I dropped him at the curb since I couldn't go past security anyway. The earliest I had to do it was 8am.

last deployment I wasn't there to see him leave and the next one he will get a ride from a friend because he wants to have his mind on what he has to do, not leaving me crying. we cry together the night before, it's easier for us both that way.

Lucky for me, he's only left for dets in the afternoon. If he left at some crazy 5 am time, I doubt I'd wake up early just to look cute. I'd put on jeans and a little makeup, but that's it.

It depends. If I have to turn around and get the kids ready by the time we get home than yes. If not than I throw a sweatshirt or t-shirt on with Jammie pants. I used to wear my slippers when I would take him in.

He's never been gone longer than a month, so I usually just go in my PJ's :giggle

When we were down to one car for a while I was taking him to work, I just crawled out of bed and threw on a sweater.

Once I'm up most likley I wont be going back to bed so I put some jeans and a tee or blouse. Both of the times he has been gone I've go in the terminal and wait till he leaves.
