Did you do anything special for your so before a deployment? If so, what? My df and I will be seperated for a yr or more from April and I want to do something nice for him - maybe make something nice that he can take on the ship with him. Any ideas?

our last deployment, i made DH a photo album with pictures of the kids and I.

yeah, i made dh a scrapbook with pictures of us, family, friends..he really liked it.

No not really cause mine wasn't on a boat so he couldn't take any "extras" with him
We did do a family pic though and he put it in the top of his helment :D

You could also make recordings of your voice telling him sweet encourgaing things to play when he is feeling down & REALLY missing you! Just hearing your voice will help him TONS!:yes

Well we planned a huge party having all family member fly in and visit.
Im also going to do a scrapbook kinda thing for him before he leaves and Ive also been pampering him with gifts:D
