What does it mean when people post the word "bump"?

It means they are just making a post to "bump" that thread back up to the top so everyone will see it. Sometimes threads get a few pages back, so in order to move it back to the top, they make a post, and a post has to say something, so they usually put "bump". Hope that helps! :D
