Thank God she got sprayed outside and not in the house. What do I do with her now? Chevy_Gurl 09-05-2006, 12:53 AM tomato soup bath :lmao Im sure that will be a fun event MW5M 09-05-2006, 01:27 AM or tomato juice bath, juice is cheaper I think :thinking Our vet carries shampoo specifically to remove skunk odor... might call your vet? breauxfam 09-05-2006, 01:31 AM oh gosh I am so sorry.. you will have to give her a few baths to get the smell out completly.. I remember when I got sprayed, it was nasty,( stop laughing, it was so not funny) I didnt even do anything to that damn skunk, I stayed as far away from it as I could, and the boys ran up on it trying to hit it with there bikes, NONE of them got sprayed, But I did, and I was trying to stay away from it, anyways I had to take a tomato soup bath, a cople of them to get the smell completly out.. Good luck.. Hugs and Kisses Nikki mary79 09-05-2006, 01:37 AM it sounds funny, but when I used to groom dogs we used vinager douch. It worked good . It might be hard to give your cat a bath if she is not used to it. You can also got to petsmarts web site and look what they have for cats. Rachael 09-05-2006, 01:41 AM ohhh man :( hope the tomato sauce thing went well :( SezzySue 09-05-2006, 02:18 AM our vet said to wash in scope, NOT tomato juice. Ste9 09-05-2006, 09:44 AM We used vinegar and water. She got it full in the face and looked so pitiful. I wrapped her up in a towel and DH wiped her face with babywipes sprayed with vinegar. It seemed to have worked. Her face looks much better this morning and she really doesn't smell to bad. I'm going to get some Oust air sanitizer today for the lingering smell in the bathroom closest to where she got sprayed. Haven't even gone onto the back porch. Chevy_Gurl 09-05-2006, 10:04 AM :giggle Glad it was just her face and not her full body. Im sure that would have been fun to deal with :teehee CoffeeGirl 09-05-2006, 08:03 PM tomato soup bath yes, or tomato sauce Pebbles 09-05-2006, 08:05 PM Poor kitty :( luvmysailor2001 09-06-2006, 02:06 AM I know I'm a little late on this but we've always used tomato juice. |
