play fetch? My cat, Figaro is totally obsessed with the game. He'll drop his toy next to me and if I don't pick it up right away, he'll get it and drop it directly on my lap. Then if I still ignore him, he picks it up and brings it closer to my hands and face! LOL! Perhaps he was a dog in his past life??
Ironically, my dog has never understood the fetch concept. :rolleyes

My kitten Monkey fetches. His favorite toys to fetch are my hairbands.

Mine fetches. I think the same thing you do about my cat being a dog in its past life. She likes to catch bugs also!
Mine found a slice of carrot once under the table and went crazy with it. I picked it up and tossed it and discovered that she plays fetch! It's quite amusing

I have a cat that plays fetch also. I always say he must of been a dog in a past life.

my dog things we are the ones that are supposed to fetch. my cats see how hard they can flop down on our stomachs right after dinner though
My mom has my cats now, but both of them liked playing fetch with those little plastic rings that come off of the gallon water bottles.
