I was just wondering. I talk to mine all the time. (Naturally! :lol)

I just told Peewee he had to be careful. He's sitting on a chair next to me, rolling around on his back, so I told... "You'd better be careful. Otherwise, you're going to fall off that chair and I'm going to have to laugh at you."

You mean there are people who don't? lol DH is always making fun of me for doing it. Although I have caught him doing the same.

My dad used to get mad because we'd say, "Excuse me" to the dog. Or whenever an animal would sneeze, we'd say, "Bless you."

Mom tried to say that it just showed our good manners. She said if we were that polite to our animals, we had to be polite to people too!

I sure do and my kids do it too. Hes part of our family, we can't leave him out of the crazyness!

I do all the time. Britt I think we might be very similar when it comes to our cats. :D

I have regular convos with my Zoey girl...I always wonder why she won't talk back....

Tim is gone and they get to hear about my day. and we cuddle, say our prayers, and talk about daddy while he is not home. They are my babies

Today my cat was sitting on one of my books, and I asked her to move, so she did, and then I said "thank you". So Dh says "Did you just thank the cat!?!"

HELL YES. We (and by we, I mean I) make up songs for them, build them forts, talk to them, make them dance. Fortunately for us, our cats are very tolerant of us! :lmao They enjoy all the attention!
