I have a ???? I know we cannot have a countdown as to when a certain person who is deployed on a Naval vessel and when they are coming home. Without being a whistle blower and causing problems, in my reading in here I have seen a few of them counting down when a person is returning. I was promptly told that I could not have a countdown to when someone is coming home due to the security of the ships. Could someone please clarify this please??? Thanks

so it's a navy thing? or is it a military thing? I was confused to a while back when I read a few things about that.

Some people just have not been "caught" yet. Others are counting down paydays. And then still there are other that have tickers to a certain day whos SO are in school or coming home on a comercial flight or something other than ship movement ;)

But you can count up. Meaning how long your SO has been deployed.
