can you tell this kitty thing is new to me??!!
anyway, I bought charlie a cat bed, small cushy oval bed. but, he doesn't have the slightest interest in it. Do you think he would like one of those enclosed beds better? I was looking at 2 beds. one is like an enclosed pyramid. the other is a fleece, flat round pad with a cresent shaped hood, less enclosed.
I looked for pics but couldn't find them online...any advice?

honestly... put a fleece blanket on the back of the couch or a chair near a window and he'll probably camp there more than anything! LOL!!! My sisters cat prefers the middle of the bed or the back of the wingback! LOL!! or a nice sunny windowsill! I would pull the blinds up a little bit during the day so he doesn't tear them up! They LOVE the sun!!! So cute though!!! Good luck!!! kitties are fun! They are so full of character!

I agree with Steph. Good luck.
I agree with Steph. I bought both of my cats beds to sleep in, but I might as well have thrown my money out the window because they haven't used them once.

From my experience, kitties like to mooch off of our blanket and pillow stash. Try putting a spare blanket or pillow over the new bed to see if that interests your cat. Funny thing about my cat is that he refused to use the bed I bought for him, but I frequently see him napping in my dog's bed and my dog sprawled out on the floor!:teehee
