Ok, I like this show and I think their a pretty cool couple.

But does anyone else think her daughter gets the shaft?

I've only seen it a couple of times but I came away with the same feeling.

I think her daughter is annoying...but most likely she's trying to get attention...and I think she's a ditz...the show is centered around their relationship...kids are just a "byline" it seems...they're so sweet and goofy it's sickening...I watch occasionally hoping for a glimpse of Tom or Mark...:)

I think the whole point of the show is just to show their life as a couple. They don't pay much attention to their son either. Well I guess they did last season, but not as much this season. I actually love the show. I like when they show celebrities being normal! I mean why can't she just lay in bed?! She can afford not to work, and if shes tired, she tired. Not to mention in this season shes pregnant.
Plus all of those shows want to sterotype people. I mean Jessica Simpson isnt a total dumbass, but making her look that way made for big ratings. So MTV does what it needs to do to put more money in their pockets.

just because they dont SHOW them paying much attention to the kids, doesn't mean they don't..i'm pretty sure they do, by the way they act when they DO show them with the kids. it's TV...it's little pieces of their lives stuffed into a 30 minute segment..of course MTV is gonna show stuff that the MTV viewers want to see.

i was in love with travis, i talked my dad into getting me tix to see them and green day and travis played the drums while the whole platform he was on turned upside down and went around, it was amazing. just thought you might think it was cool. lol

I've seen bits and pieces of some shows. I liked when the dad told the kid what he bought the mom for her birthday and the kid ran out and told the mom the secret.

I love the show. Espeically Travis and his tatt's.

But yeah the show is based soely on their relationship as a husband and wife not as a family in hole. I just figured the daughter isn't around in the shots very much either maybe becuase the daughters father doesn't want her to be on tv very much. just a thought.

And want to know something cool... Blink 182 used to practice in our quad at lunch time. And Tom's family down the street from my best friends house when we were in high school. :lmao

I think they don't show the daughter that much cuz she is from her first marriage to Oscar De La Hoya...cuz it seems like they show their little guy Landon a lot.
