He is a crazy ass person. :hehe But very sweet natured.... weird mix I tell ya. :wink Michele 12-03-2005, 01:03 AM It was definately interesting! I didn't like the whole plot that revolved around the sherif though...kinda dumb. I like the first one better too Kaymara 12-03-2005, 07:12 AM I do too. But it was pretty good. I love Rob Zombie too. He is a crazy ass person. :hehe But very sweet natured.... weird mix I tell ya. :wink I can't believe him and his #1 gal, film star etc got married!! (Sherry Moon I think her name is? or something like that. We noticed she had Zombie tacked onto her last name now!) Good for them!! :mrgreen Brandi 12-03-2005, 09:15 AM Well, I watched it but was pretty much lost during the whole thing b/c I didn't see the first one. I thought it was alright, but it kinda lacked plot. It was basically just really gorey and crude, but not much else to it :confuzzle Kaymara 12-03-2005, 09:19 AM Well, I watched it but was pretty much lost during the whole thing b/c I didn't see the first one. I thought it was alright, but it kinda lacked plot. It was basically just really gorey and crude, but not much else to it :confuzzle Kinda a spoiler so dont read if you havent seen it and wanna... The plot was in the first one. And the direction he was going in this one was to turn the tables and show that even pyschos care about their familys, fight like normal familys, and then turn them even more by having the tables really turned and have them be the hunted...Like they did to soooo many of their victims...Tortured..etc.. Brandi 12-03-2005, 09:48 AM ***************SPOILER*********** but question for Kristi about the movie: can i ask why did they send tiny back into the house at the end? was it b/c they knew they were gonna die? I was just really confused through the whole thing and none of it really made sense. I mean, just basically killing people and mind games, but I didn't really understand anything else? The part with tiny especially confused me b/c they said go back inside, we'll be back for you, so he did then it blew up. I was like WTF? And why did tiny go inside the burning house anyways? Did he not know he would die??? Kaymara 12-03-2005, 10:10 AM SPOILER INFO for Brandi Yes they knew it was over. Tiny went back inside to die. He knew it was done. They weren't coming back...Their mom/wife was dead and it was over. They knew it. See in House of 1000 corpses it introduces the family, it shows them killing, it shows how pyshco they are. It shows how demented they are. In fact you see some of the girls that the sheriff stapled to em. It shows these kids go to Spauldings shop, it shows you being lured in by them etc..You should watch that. It makes more sense. In fact I have it if ya wanna borrow it. I loaned it to my neighbor but will get it back soon...And then in this on Rob was trying to show a real demented side of horror movies. That although these people were crazy, disgusting, cold blooded killers they had a "normal" family life. They loved their mom, they had sibling fights, they wanted ice cream, they chastised one another...Rob Zombie has a huge love for old school horror movies (70's early 80's) He was trying to get back into that as well as give a demented insite into the minds of these fruitloops. Hope that helps ya some Brandi 12-03-2005, 10:23 AM Ahh,, okay. See, I guess I'm used to most sequels being made to where you don't have to really watch the first one to understand. This one, I guess you really do. Jason loved the soundtrack to this one. I think he's gonna buy it. Not your typical horror movie music :lmao On a side note, this movie was soooooooooooo gorey. OMG. I couple times, I really had to turn my head :worried :wow Kat 12-03-2005, 06:31 PM Yeah it was pretty sick. Especially the part where she was wearing the guys face and then ran into the road, and got hit by the MAC truck :hehe (that is so bad to laugh, but I have that sick type of humor :wink ) Callie 12-05-2005, 02:15 PM I watched the first one and I hated it, but I think that I was the only one. DH wants to see this one though he really liked the first one. sdshorty 12-05-2005, 02:19 PM Both of these were very interesting. And Kat, that was me and dh's favorite part too, LOL, so demented but we were cracking up like DAAAAYYYUMM |
