I'm from NY and my bf is station in San Diego. He's getting ready to leave for ten month. I'm single mother of a toddle. A RN/midwife. I'm not really new to the Navy life... my dad was in the Navy for over 20 years and my husband has been in for 2 years (my step dad is in and has done over 20 years and my grandfather was in the Navy too lol). But its so different having your father in the service than having your husband in. Anyways, hope to get to know you all better.
