My name is Amy and I live in Washington DC...my DB just left for VA beach of training before he goes to Bahrain for a year. I'm already missing him and he's only 300 miles away right now. We've done deployments before...the longest 6 months, but he's been shore for the past 4 years so I'm a little out of practice of what to do to keep myself sane! The only thing that makes it just a little better is knowing how much he wants to go to Bahrain.
