View Full Version : Haircuts for babies...
Rileysmom 09-25-2006, 01:18 PM Anybody know how or where I can find out how to cut a babies hair? Riley's hair is out of control! And although I can give him a killer mohawk, I want to cut it like a normal little boy this time (save the mohawk for later :giggle). We took him to the salon and they said he has to be a year old (:rolleyes). Any of you cut your own child's hair?
Lindsey 09-25-2006, 01:25 PM We took Jamison to a barber shop in Coronado where derrick gets his done and they did it before he was 1....they're great with kids bc they have 3 boys of their own and it's a family business!
Rileysmom 09-25-2006, 01:28 PM Hmmm... maybe I should just go to a shop and tell them he is a year old? He LOOKS way older than the almost 9 months he is.... :thinking

That sounds like a plan to me! :thumbsup ...I would be too scared to do it myself :shock
Caimbrie 09-25-2006, 01:43 PM Do you have any cartoon cuts out there? That's where I used to take the boys.. but the good one closed down so now they go to Regis and they are actually better there. I don't know if they have an age requirement though... Wyatt is still pretty bald and Cameron and Alex are over a year needless to say lol.
Brandi 09-25-2006, 01:45 PM We just took Jaxon to a regular shop and he did pretty good, actually. The lady who cut his hair was really good with kids. They have these awesome little kids hair cuttery places around here though. They have cartoons on the TV, lots of kids toys and stuff hanging around, the chairs are designed for kids, they have little keepsake things for the hair, etc. I forget the name of them but they have one in the mall and there are always tons of people there so it must be pretty decent!
jennyb 09-25-2006, 01:45 PM Blake got his first hair cut at 5 months at the barbershop on base.

Some places have kid oriented places which I reccomend. I take E and he LOVES it. They put in a dvd for him and he sits in a car with a steering wheel and he is none the wiser :D
